What do you do when a beauty brand gifts you something artistic and out-of-the-box (quite literally)? You take pictures, blog about it and show it to the world! L’Occitane, a name associated with fine beauty and bath products recently celebrated their 40th Anniversary in India. While the main celebrations took place in Aamchi Mumbai, the other parts of the country with their prominent stores too witnessed the enthusiasm over limited edition products and other great hampers! I too, obliged by the celebrations and visited L’Occitane Saket, Delhi to meet Mr. Aidan Goddard, CFO & COO – Asia Pacific and Mr. John Ho, General Manager – South East Asia; as they spoke volumes about the brand, its legacy and how impressed they are by the feedback they’ve received from the Indian consumers. Agreeing to the point that India now takes beauty very seriously and doesn’t invest in a product unless they are satisfied by its purity and results; be it a drugstore line or an ace beauty brand like L’Occitane itself. Given the fact that L’Occitane is all about bringing natural ingredients into good use, with minimal chemical introduction to the production, I have been quite convinced with the quality of this brand since quite a few time. To celebrate their 40th Anniversary with Indian Consumers, L’Occitane has also come up with a ‘Limited Edition’ collection of Hand Creams and a few other products. Luckily, I got a chance to take back few LE products from their range, apart from a cute L’Occitane truck that definitely needed a special feature for its artistic appeal. While I celebrate L’Occitane 40th Anniversary, I suggest that you visit the nearest L’Occitane store and grab a few LE hand creams since these are absolutely divine and pocket friendly as well! Also, if you plan on gifting something to your …

Za Total Hydration Amino Gel_Kalapalette1

We are almost settled in with the monsoon season and the anticipation for autumn time is in full swing. While I am still praying for a few more drizzles, it is the humidity that is totally killing it. So much so, that I am being real cautious about what to put on my face till this moist season stays on. The minutest presence of moisture on the skin leads to a sticky skin, which is followed by zits popping all over. Yikes! As a beautilicious routine, this is the best time to indulge in gel-based or no-cream beauty products. Za Total Hydration Amino Mineral Refreshing Gel is one such moisturising product, that claims to provide moisturisation without any pains of stickiness and dull looking skin. About Moisture charge in just 10 seconds! Amino mineral complex instantly rebalances your skin condition and restores with moisturization. It is refreshing and leaves no stickiness after usage. Steps to Use Dab an appropriate amount (approx. 0.6 g) on several spots over face with the fingertip and smooth over from the centre of the face outwards. Experience I personally found the moisturiser quite convincing. The gel based formula of this one blends in with the skin, leaving behind no sticky substitute whatsoever. The fragrance too was mild and soothing, which calls in for some extra brownie points. The price tag might be a bit out of budget for a moisturiser, but for those who are desperately looking for light hydration on their acne-prone skin, this definitely is the product to invest in. Verdict Value for Money : 3.5/5 Quality : 4.5/5 Quantity : 4/5 Results : 3.5/5 Usage : 1 month approx. (daily application) Price: INR 599 for 50 gms

Oriflame Love Nature Face Wash Neem

August 25, 2015

I’ve been going on and on about being organic and adapting a beauty regime that is ‘Au Naturel’. Keeping up with the nature’s trend, we have many brands trying to maintain a chemical free approach towards their products. However, with most of the products that I use, be it organic, their are a very few that actually show convincing results. Oriflame is one Indian beauty brand that I associate as being *exclusive*. Given its nature of being members-only product line, I have grown up seeing my mother and other ladies of the house actually flipping through catalogues and reviewing the products in the comfort of our homes before buying the product. And this concept of comfort beauty shopping has grown into a full blown business, with series of product ranges getting introduced every now and then. To gift us something for the sticky monsoon season, Oriflame recently introduced a range of face-care products. The range called ‘Love Nature’ comes with the goodness of Neem, which is strongly related to beauty care; over centuries. Eager to find a remedy for my oily T-zone, I have been adapting random face packs, light moisturising creams and what not. Unfortunately, either the packs have left my skin all dry or haven’t worked for me at all. Oriflame’s Love Nature Face Wash comes with the goodness of Neem. Honestly, I am really very happy with the product! About Oriflame Love Nature Face Wash Oriflame India brings you vast range for products from its ever so fresh and rejuvenating “Love Nature Range”, an array which caters to your skin’s need all day long. Priced at Rs. 199, the product is a gentle face was with antibacterial properties of Neem which helps prevent blemishes and balances T-zone. Removing the impurities and excess oil form the skin, the …
