I absolutely love dressing up according to the festive season and Christmas is no exception or me. Christmas is such a nostalgic time where the carols and the smell of cinnamon in the air remind me of the amazing childhood celebrations we all used to have during the festive season. However, as we grew older, we learnt new ways to celebrate the festival and that includes dressing up for the occasion. Though red might be synonymous with the festival of Christmas, I thought why not go a different way and use a few other colours to bring out the festivity in the season? 1. Marsala: Image source: squarespace Did you know that in the year 2014, Marsala was pronounced Pantone’s colour of the year? Well, justifiably so! This beautifully earthy tone which has a certain robustness to it, is definitely one of my favourites without a doubt. Despite the fact that marsala was pronounced the Colour of the Year 4 years back, to this day it holds its ground as a tough competitor when compared to other worthy opponents, a few of which I will be listing here for sure! 2. Amber: Image source: stylecraze It is so fascinating to learn new things each and every day! Did you know that the colour Amber happens to fall exactly between yellow and orange in the colour wheel, because I sure did not! But one thing I know for sure, that I am absolutely in love with the brightness and the earthiness of this colour too. The great thing about colours such as these, is that they suit every skin tone beautifully. From an overcoat to a pair of trousers or a billowy dress, use this colour without hesitation and you will be rewarded with many admiring looks for sure. 3. Rose …

This article needs no introduction, because it’s the spirit of this festivity that brings out the best in any hospitality group and other brands alike. Mosaic Hotels too, getting into the festive mood, has introduced an array of Christmas Delicacies that are now available for the entire month for purchase! And to give us food lovers a personal experience of what they have in store for their Delhi and NCR foodies, they invited us over a tête-à-tête to introduce their Holiday Season specialities. M Lounge Patisserie, which comes under the Mosaic Hotels banner excels in breads, cakes and other assortments like chocolates and breakfast spreads. Keeping in mind the utility of products for a month long holiday season, M lounge has introduced a variety of breads, cakes and edible decors to meet the requirement of their clients. As simple as a bread loaf has been done 3 ways to bring in more flavours and a sense of being merry to everyone’s breakfast table. I personally loved their marble and jam flavoured bread loafs. Priced between INR 125-150 for 500 gms, these bread loafs will last 2-3 weeks and can be micro-heated to retain freshness at the time of serving. For chocolate lovers they have Leopard Bread and Marble Bread as well. For those who love the jam-bread traditional combination, the chef has introduced the Swiss Breakfast Bread and for the health conscious lot they have an array of Mutli-Grain breads too. Their festive star is the Chimney Cake which is basically an edible chimney made of croissant dough stuffed with battery-operated candles and an option of assorted chocolates, cookies and choco-cookies. These chimneys have been designed as a table decoration which can be savoured past it’s decorative show. The chimneys are priced between INR 274-475 and can last for up to …

Well, I’m pretty sure your attention has been caught by the title of this article. Who doesn’t like receiving gifts, right? And if the gift happens to be from an abode of beauty + fragrance, like The Body Shop, things just can’t get any merrier than that! But before you all scroll down to participate in the giveaway, their are two major things that I’d like to share with y’all. The Body Shop Holiday Gift Boxes Like each year, The Body Shop, always gives us a reason to indulge in some pampering therapy during the holiday season. This time too, they have come up with pretty packaging and various gifting options to suit every pocket. For those who are looking at gifting an entire range of bath and body products to their loved ones, The Body Shop has introduced Deluxe Gifting Sets. And for those who are planning on gifting everyone something, they have come up with Mini Gifting Sets that are pocket friendly and offer variants in travel friendly sizes. I happen to have received their Frosted Cranberry Mini Gift Set, which is from their limited edition range. Each mini set consists of 1 Cranberry Body Butter, 1 Cranberry Body Wash and a Cranberry Lily (Loofah). The gift set came just in time when I was leaving for a destination wedding and so I ended up taking this travel friendly pack along. The Cranberry Body Butter smells divine and will definitely be a hit for those who like fruity fragrances. The consistency of the body butter is creamy, which makes it apt to use during the winter season. Although not dense like Vanilla or Shea, Cranberry Body Butter is ideal for usage in warm to cool climatic conditions. My usage: I usually apply it after a bath in the morning and …
