Nowruz Celebrations at Zarin by Fairmont Jaipur

March 21, 2017
Zarin Fairmont Jaipur_Twitter

It’s always a pleasure being back at Fairmont Jaipur. That ‘Royalty State Of Mind’ experience is something I always look forward to on my travel times. The month of March is the time for celebrations as Gulf countries and Parsi community celebrates ‘Nowruz’, the Persian New Year. Celebrating the occasion in an Indo-Persian-Parsi style, Fairmont Jaipur recently invited me and a couple of other food influences to celebrate the 2nd anniversary of Zarin, India’s only Indo-Persian restaurant. Candlelit restaurant, intricately painted ceilings, chandeliers, rainy winds gushing through the corridors and a set menu offering the finest of the Persian dishes being prepared by Chef Deepak Gurung & Chef Rehman was what we witnessed on the eve of Nowruz. The ‘Forgotten Recipes of Persia’ food festival will go on till 1st of April, offering finest of the fine Persian and Parsi recipes at Zarin. Also, in accordance is the celebration of Zarin’s 2nd anniversary since its launch in March 2015. Considering the feedbacks that they’ve received from their elite customers over the course of time, Chefs have introduced a menu for Zarin that consists of an array of Vegetarian dishes in the fresh carte du jour. The amalgamation between Indo-Persion style of cooking, techniques and usage of herbs is what resonates throughout the menu of Zarin. Let me take you on a pictorial journey of what I tried at Zarin from their newly launched menu. Table condiments Ajika, Hummus, Parsi coconut green chutney, Parsi tomato chutney with House Salad (Romaine lettuce, cucumber, tomato, carrots and olives served with house dressing) & Persian breads. Soup Soup – E – Joe – Slowly cooked barley soup with Persian spices. The soup was quite refreshing, light and mildly infused with herbs keeping the freshness of the vegetables intact. For non-vegetarian counterpart, the menu also had Harira …

Reason why Fairmont Jaipur is The King Of Royal Luxury!

Fairmont Jaipur Virtual Tour_11

Rajasthan’s Hospitality is all about extravaganza and royalty. I can go on and on talking about why I am in absolute awe of this property, but it speaks for itself at great lengths anyway. The architecture has been inspired by the Royal Rajputs and Mughal Dynasty. Each part of the decor has a story to tell and the addition of carefully curated artefacts enhances the realism of Fairmont Jaipur. Just like any other Fairmont property all across the globe, it too has closely worked with the traditions of Rajasthan and what royal lifestyle was all about, centuries back. And to speak about the artistic beauty of this hotel, it will be unfair if I try to just put it in words. As they say that a picture speaks a thousand words, scroll down as I have handpicked 20 odd photographs from a bulk of 2GB data, to summarise what a beautiful architectural marvel Fairmont is all about. You can also check out the Accommodation Review to learn more about their services.   Learn more about this enchanting property and a book a stay for a luxurious experience  http://www.fairmont.com/jaipur/

Fairmont Jaipur is a renowned name in the city of pink buildings and royalty. It’s not just the architecture of Fairmont Jaipur, but the very hospitality that vouches for the luxurious experience one gets to witness over a stay at this Mughal-Rajputana inspired hotel property. And when I speak about the luxurious experience, you can expect a round of glitz engulfed food trail accompanied with lodging that makes you feel no less of a king/queen; upon stay. For those who’ve read our travel diaries for a long long time must be aware of our primary rendezvous with Fairmont Jaipur 2 years back. As we mapped the extravagant world of the property in our travel video, our focus was mostly on the intricate decor of the hotel palace. And so this time, we promised to capture the very essence of intricate detailing and heritage of Rajasthan that has been adapted by Clive Gray of Bangkok-based Randolph Gray Design to create magnificent interior decor of the property. Fairmont Jaipur consists of 199 rooms overlooking Char-Bagh courtyard or the picturesque Aravalli Hills. Each room matches the extravagant accommodation style of Mughal royalties, with spacious bedrooms and vibrant bathrooms. Each room is bolted with traditional studded timber door which welcomes guests into an alley dotted with traditional silverware flower vase and a room dipped in bright colour palette of distressed gold and rich turquoise. Most of the furniture is crafted with timber and includes Portuguese colonial-inspired four poster beds to keep up with the old-school charm. The details of studded furniture, jaalidaar-air conditioning, carefully curated interior-decor accessories and excellent amenities build up the luxury factor of Fairmont Jaipur accommodation. Whereas silverware makes up for most of the accessories, dim-lit lamps, Mughal themed mirror-work and paintings add on the royal glory of the room; making the residents feel …

Aire The Sky Bar Crowne Plaza Jaipur {Review}

May 24, 2016
Aire Jaipur

You must have already read our review of the House of Han by Crowne Plaza Jaipur. This article is a first hand review of Aire the Sky Bar Crowne Plaza Jaipur which is nothing like your regular sundowner decks! Situated right in the middle of the Crowne Plaza Property, it has been designed next to the elevated swimming pool area, which provides a more intimate dining experience overall. Keeping the surroundings open air, with room for natural breeze and a relaxed lounge seating area, Aire the Sky Bar is definitely a breezy experience. To top it up, the bar also offers a live grill and a live evening musical performance by their encore singers; every evening. You name it and Crowne Plaza has pledged to serve it! Right from the seating arrangements, the dim-lit setup to the freshly brewed alcoholic concoctions that their in-house bartender offers, once can definitely look forward to an evening full of spirits (literally). During match days, Aire the Sky Bar Crowne Plaza Jaipur also proudly installs a projector, that entitles the diners to keep a tab on the cricket scores while they snack on some hot-out-of-the-grill delicacies. The Drinks While their bartender is definitely skilled with the universal cocktails like LIIT, Margarita, Mojito, Cosmopolitan and the Apple Martini; one can definitely feel that the menu is incomplete without their ‘signature cocktails’ section which often Hospitality groups boast about! But, for those who know their drinks right, it won’t be a disappointment as the bar do offers a wide variety of rich Single Malts, Blended Scotches, Tennessee, Cognac, Rum and the global menu of Wines, Beers and Vodkas. They serve finest drinks available like Villa Fassini Cabernet Shiraz and Norton Bodega that won’t disappoint your appetite to tantalise your taste buds with nothing but the best. THE FOOD One platter …

House Of Han, Jaipur

April 2, 2016
House of Han Entrance

The biggest stereotype associated with Rajasthan and all of its tourist destinations is – leather, Lal Maas, folk music and rustic historical lanes. Now for most of the parts it is a true story, with absolutely no denying the belief in venturing the local lifestyle rather than feeding self to the commercial offerings; their is no harm in being experimental a little. And with cultural cities like Jaipur, the traditional norms come in mandatory with onion kachoris, lassi and Chauki Dhaani tours a must! Now if you are in the ‘Pink City’ and crave for some authentic Chinese food, where to head on to? Right on the Tonk Road, closest to the Jaipur International Airport, we have Crowne Plaza’s newest Check-in property with its star Chinese restaurant named the ‘House of Han’. Intricately designed with the authentic wisdom of Sichuan cuisine, House of Han offers an array of Chinese delicacies. From tender pork chops, fish dressings to offering quintessential sea food platters; the restaurant excels in a variety of meats and organic vegetables preprepared to excellence! The menu has been with an inclusion of various regional local cuisines of China. Chef Jinhong Luo has crafted a kitchen serving Mongolian, Sichuan, Cantonese and Hunan delicacies. Keeping in mind the heat levels that Indian taste buds can take, they have definitely altered the spices used; but that has not deterred the flavours nor has the level of sweetness gone up to disguise the authentic taste. Respecting the norms with the Oriental décor of the restaurant, Crowne Plaza’s team have put in special efforts in reflecting the regional ambience in every possible aspect. The cutlery, crockery, Mongolian griddle table and woodwork of House of Han has been specially imported from the mainland China; for keeping up with their authenticity. The restaurant has four private dining areas, with …

The first half of February every year, is all about feeling loved or giving your unconditional love expressions to the one who matters. Social Network goes berserk with couples posting their most mushy mushy memories together, while singles cribbing about the love flood and debating about their #foreveralone lifestyle. But why is it that only the couples get to take the sweet cake away, leaving singles feeling love-less and low on esteem? This post is not dedicated to those who are celebrating the V-Day with their partners, but rather focuses on giving fabulous options to the singletons on how to rock the occasion with some self pampering parade. 1. Spa Goals Be it the tedious working hours that have kept you away from the dating scene, or the long overdue salon trip that needs to be checked off the list, go ahead and indulge in some therapeutic pampering at your nearest spa centres.
