For those who are drifting into the amour world of Valentine’s Day, hear this! Lakmé introduces 9 to 5 Weightless Matte Mousse Lip and Cheek Colour which is absolutely everything you need right now. Right from giving your lips a La Vie En Rose full coverage to offering a natural blush to sculpted cheek-bones, Lakmé 9 to 6 Matte Mousse is all you need this Valentines Day. I have been trying the tint for an all day look to wearing it up on a Delhi-Mumbai travel spree and not even once have I felt the need to re-apply the tint or wipe the smudge off over a quick meal express. The application is swift, texture- smooth and credibility – flawless. The great part about this Lip and Cheek Colour? The texture is matte yet weightless on application. Which means, your lips look fuller without the feel of overdoing the usage. The mousse comes in a compact travel friendly container, with a swap applicator making the application process hassle-free.   Lakmé 9 to 5 Weightless Matte Mousse Lip and Cheek colour comes in 10 intense shades ranging between hues of reds, browns and pinks; with a light-powdery finish. The 10 shades are Blush Velvet, Rose Touch, Burgundy Lush, Tangerine Fluff, Cocoa Soft, Fuchsia Suede, Crimson Silk, Coffee Lite, Plum Feather and Pink Plush. All shades go well with the Indian skintone and are apt to be worn at all seasons. The application is smooth, blends well with the skin and leaves behind dry yet highly pigmented lips and blush-cheeks, post application. Priced at Rs. 575/- the range lasts a good 1.5 – 2 months on regular application.

Now a couple of months back, I visited Faces Canada’s Saket store, to try out some of their latest beauty additions. Faces Canada is one of those brands who do improvise on their colour palette, based on regions and requirements of a particular skin shade. So I have definitely felt confident applying shades from their lips range. One of their latest ranges consisted of Matte …
