TRIANGLES all around me!!

December 13, 2011

I am so sorry that there has been a delay in my Sunday Surprise post…my illness is keeping me low for a while. But from sadness apart, here is a little treat for you all πŸ˜‰ Their are plenty of shapes and patterns we come across in almost anything and everything. This Sunday Surprise I thought of “GOING BACK TO BASICS AND EDGY” and by edgy….I really mean edgy!! So this Sunday Surprise THEME IS : TRIANGLES I have created a graphical look for the same below :  It took me a lot of time to put these pieces in together, sorry for amateur presentation, but this is the best I could create with my Migraine attack on πŸ™ Well, I took up a Salvatore Ferragamo’s collection look and transformed the blazer into an EDGY TRIANGLE TREAT! Since nowdays the trend for Neon Shades is on, I added a very bright palette.Because I never present just one piece of item, I collaborated the look with 4 edgier items πŸ˜‰ 1. Triangle Leather Necklace by LEIF This neckpiece is really very edgy, simple to make *might do a DIY* and will go perfectly well with my custom made blazer πŸ™‚ Since they have loads of neon colors to choose from, you can go for your favorite of all, or the better…blend few triangles into one chain πŸ˜‰ 2.Custom made Triangle Gold Earring This is a trial by me, a sober gold triangle earring, which will cover your ear fully, the top edge will have a hook which will go behind your ear to give support, and the 2nd support will come on the earlobe for normal   screw attachment. 3.Pebble Golden Metal Interlocking Triangle Bangles by Brand Alley These interlocking bangles are EDGY and CHIC! Since there is too much color going on the look, …

Audrey Hepburn FEAT DA VINCI

December 4, 2011

I had been so excited about my 1st post after my proper blog establishment. Was thinking what can be the best welcoming post?Well I thought why not bring two of my biggest inspirations together in SUNDAY SPECIAL post πŸ™‚ So I brewed up the fusion of the fashion inspiration of Millions AUDREY HEPBURN and art inspiration of Millions LEONARDO DA VINCI. I picked up a random Black Dress from GOOGLE and transformed it into a Audrey Hepburn style neck line : I also added the signature pearl and diamonds necklace to give the perfect Hepburn Look : Since I had to give a TADKA (Fusion) of the famous painter Da Vinci, I brushed up his very famous painting of Mona Lisa on the dress :  Well, no look is perfect if not paired with the right Footwear πŸ˜‰ For that I picked CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN’S BLACK PUMPS, which had a hint of Red which i turned into Gold color, to match with the golden skin color of Mona Lisa. To add more of Audrey fever, I added the look alike sunglasses she use to wear. For that I added BVLGARI SUNGLASSES : Since the pearl necklace is the show stopper, I opted for minimal CHANEL DIAMOND STUDS to compliment the overall look: Then I added my personal favourite of all, ALEXANDER MCQUEEN’S CLUTCH. It was black in color, so to give it a more feel of the theme, I added hues of gold, again to compliment the pretty tone of Mona Lisa. And last but not the least, my personal signature add on to any dress up!! A COMPLIMENTARY PERFUME , exclusively selected to go with the look. Here I was trying to search a perfume directly connected to Audrey, and VOILA, I came across LOVE IN BLACK. Well according to the sources, this perfume for specially …

Inspiration so big :)

August 11, 2011

I met her blog accidently due to someone who had stolen her art and given to a famous website called “STARDOLL”…but thanks to that girl that i ended up meeting such an inspirational figure….KATHRYN ROGERS and her blog named PAPERFASHION….I fell in love with her art instantly,I remember the 1st ever illustration of hers which I saw was BIRD OF PARADISE I simply loved what she had put up on her canvas…they were delicate, colorful but elegant…full of life and simply “AWESOME”….this really glued me to be a regular to her blog and soak in loads of inspiration from her.,, I even kept account of her personal blogging which showcased her timely posts about her room..her encounters in life and so on….This led me to follow her to Facebook and I came to know her even better.I followed each and every illustration of hers so far.Such talented people really boost up your inner soul to go forward and do something…..She has inspired me alot and made me pull up my sleeves to do something myself. Whenever I get time I simply go through her artwork. Her signature style of leaving flow of pen around her illustrations…the swirls which flow out…the rough skeleton leftovers which are visible at some portions…All this makes the illustration stand out at KATHRYN ROGER’S creation…I simply love them. If I look at her designs dating back to 2009 and now…she has turned into a true artist. Her earlier illustrations are clean and don’t leave room for roughness. They are clean and crisp. But her work now is all speaking about HER.The wild flow of rough lines running through her illustration…let us know about her free spirited ARTFORM. I remember the time I interacted with her for the 1st time.Though it was a limited conversation but I was so overwhelmed. You know the …
