Phuket Patong Beach: Complete Review

June 12, 2022

Phuket is divided into two moods. South Phuket, is all about crystal beaches, relaxed luxury resorts, and serenity for miles. The other mood of Phuket is the central city, which is where the city comes to life at night. It has everything from seafood cafes to boutique fine-dining restaurants, beach picnics to the walking street, and international malls to flea markets! So if you wish to explore the latter mood of Phuket, it is ideal to book a stay in the central part of Phuket only. This way, you don’t get to rely on the Tuk Tuks or any other public transport for the to & fro and a simple walk around is enough to explore the nightlife of Phuket’s main city area. I feel the best area to stay in has to be the Patong Beach stretch, where all the high points of their nightlife are a stone’s throw away. My stay at Phuket Patong Beach was such an exciting experience. From a roof-top bar, multi-level swimming pool facilities, and spacious rooms to fine-dining restaurants, it had it all! I guess you need a bit more details for me to justify how brilliant of a stay option this is, for people who are looking at partying all night long in Phuket. PHUKET PATONG BEACH The hotel is situated right across from Patong Beach. It is a palatial hotel with 384 contemporary-style guestrooms. I will say that the highlights of this resort are its multi-floor swimming pools and its rooftop bar with a 360 panoramic view of Phuket island. Keep Calm and Take a #Selfie

April 8, 2014

Anybody and everybody who is on the social network knows what a #selfie is! Not just that, but each one of us has been a *victim* of taking selfies. Yeah! Victim. Because now, taking our own pic(s) innumberable times in an hour-day-week-month has been *diagnosed* as a syndrome. Don’t believe me? Just google up ‘Selfie Syndrome’ and learn for yourself.  But heck! Will we stop taking selfies? What will our Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Vine, etc….. feeds update then? A *sheepish* NAAAAAAH! Recently, this syndrome got bigger and maybe better. In January, Ellen DeGeneres’ Oscar selfie with stars like Angelina Jolie, Meryl Streep and Jared Leto became famous world wide. It was every-friggin-where on the news and of course our social network.  This *Group Selfie* bug soon found it’s way into Bollywood. Don’t believe me? Let’s check out some examples, shall we? #GroupSelfie the #BOLLYWOOD style Kunal Kohli | Mandira Bedi | Shahrukh Khan  Shahrukh was quick enough to arrange a selfie next. Although this one was not that big a ‘celebrity’ selfie, but oh well SRK covered it all. I wonder what’s with his catty eyes?  Kalki Koechlin | Koel Purie | Deepika Padukone The pouts never suffice. Sigh! Sonakshi Sinha | Tanisha Mukherjee | Kajol | Jaya Bachchan  Now this one came in as a surprise. Never seen these four ladies together ever, and look how happy they look in this photo. Selfie a friendship bond-er eh? VJ Andy | Karan Johar | Kirron Kher | Malaika Arora Khan | Bharti  Singh | Amitabh Bachchan If Jaya Bachchan can do it, why will Amitabh Bachchan stay behind? Even if it means posing at the finale of a reality tv program.  Preity Zinta | Rani Mukherjee | Manish Arora | Urmila Matondkar The old (accept it now!) beauties of Bollywood. Sigh! Nargis Fakhri …
