5 Reasons to visit Niche Lounge & Bistro? Check em’ out!
#1 The Ambience
The first thing that’s going to come across strongly is the ambience of this lounge. Unlike other dimly lit lounge interiors, this one is well lit with a very spacious seating arrangement.
For those who are looking for a drink, they have a live bar available, for those who prefer engaging in some live music in between meals, they have a nice dining space right in front of their entertainment zone; and for those who prefer having some privacy to catch up on some offline conversations they have the vintage lounge zone and a balcony seating area to blow out cigars and hookahs.
#2 Caters To All
The lounge is spacious enough to host an entire family gathering, a group of workaholics or even youngsters who just want to chug some beers!
- POLENTA
Trio of polenta with seasonal mushrooms, asparagus, baby carrots, mushroom soil and parmesan; served with Fratelli Sauvignon Blanc
The menu too is priced to compliment each pocket, with a variety of delicacies that can cater to the desi as well as continental taste buds.
#3 The De-Constructed Menu
Delhi is definitely taking the whole eatery scene on a new level, with every other F&B brand improvising international plating scenario to their regular menu.
- 57′ DUCK BREAST
Goosberry Coulis, grape salad, puffed rice & beet chips; served with Fratelli Sauvignon Blanc
Pleasing the Indian palettes with appetizers like Paneer Dumka Roll, inducing the flavours of Asia with Vietnamese Prawns to going Michelin Star with portions of Smoked Salmon with Gazpacho; Niche is definitely living up to its namesake! And it’s not just the menu but the flavours too that are going to hit the right notes.
I am not a big fan of Sarso Da Saag, but their version of ‘Hari Saag’ was definitely a winner and tasted absolutely divine.
They have an array of wine and champagne options that have also been constructed alongside the menu to compliment each dish.
#4 Smaller Portions
Now if you are concerned about ordering say Confit Halibut or 57′ Duck Breast but are unsure if you’ll be able to take it up as a wholemeal, they have an option of ordering ‘smaller portion’ of the dish to tingle down your taste buds and satisfy your cravings too.
This comes in as a fresh and a well acclaimed idea for those foodies, who love tasting, but are not able to order much given that they got to finish the entire servings before ordering up anything else.
- FRENCH ONION SOUP RINGS
Textures of Onion, Gruyere Cheese; served with Hardy’s Stamp Chardonnay Semillon
#5 Entertainment Amidst Champagne
Live music, beautifully prepared dishes and a few drinks; what else do you need to make your weekend more happening, eh? Although not much has been told about the type of music or bands that are going to play their on a regular basis, but everything will definitely be in approximation to the ‘niche’.
- CONFIT HALIBUT
Seasonal Vegetables, coconut scented shellfish bisque reduction served with Sula Riesling
Their elevated entertainment station will definitely avoid chaos and a chance for everyone seated in the lounge to enjoy the same, comfortably.
