OOTD - American Swan AW'13/14

For those who have been following Kalapalette, must have seen their SS’13 collection feature. Casual, comfortable and chic. American Swan apparel and accessories *proudly* shouts that out loud! Just like their SS’13 collection, the winter stock also followed a classy color palette. The apparels are not just stylish, but equally warm and apt for at least Delhi winters.

What I really like about American Swan, is the fact that they do not superimpose their label on the collection. They have a vast variety of men’s and women’s apparel and accessories to choose from, and have an equally pleasing delivery system.

Bomber jackets can never go out fashion. If Coco Chanel could swear by that, why can’t we? To balance the pop of Maroon Sweat Shirt, I have chosen a Navy Blue Jacket.

Since winters are all about layering, you need to get each layer right. What could possibly compliment both navy blue and maroon; yet do not steal the spotlight. I chose the Sky blue trousers as the best bet.

The look was completed with a pair of tan sneakers, which are sporty and give a definite androgynous feel to the overall casual theme.
