Saree Makeover at Lakme Fashion Week Summer Resort 2014

Indian fashion weeks are incomplete without the trace of ‘Indian Tadka’ init! Which is why, most of our desi designers make sure that they keep on experimenting with that 6 yard stretch.

Examining Lakme Fashion Week Summer Resort 2014’s recently commenced shows, I was quiet amused by the makeover these ethnic Sarees have got.
 Let’s take a look (and get inspired) as to how one can absolutely indulge in some desi way of wearing n stylin the 6 yards drape!

Inspiration : “Indian Miniatures” – Inspired by the paintings from 16-19th centuries; depicting potraits, court scenes, flora and fauna.
