Who said that ‘Great conversations start over great coffee’?? Hell no! Great conversations can start over anywhere, even when it’s 5a.m. outside the city airport. Well, atleast I wasn’t keeping any hopes on that. To give you a broader perspective, here is the summary…. While Delhi was buzzing over the recently concluded Wills Lifestyle Fashion Week, amidst the crazy schedules, I got an invitation, which usually might piss anyone off. Reason? Well, the invite was for a workshop to be held in Mumbai, while I reside in Delhi. Like always, I had to politely decline the invite, stating my current location. To which, they replied, with an equally polite smile, that this trip will be fully sponsored. YAY! (Dil mai ladoo phoota? Yesss!) As the days closed by, I learnt that few more bloggers will be flown down from Delhii, among which I got in touch with Ritu from The Indian Beauty , who introduced me to Deeptima from Beauty Unleash with Deeptima . I started my trip with anxiety and a hope that I will *meet* new people, only if I knew that much more is what I will get out of this mini trip. Earth Day Celebrations with The Body Shop India

A couple of days back I was invited by The Body Shop, India, to celebrate Earth Day. Being an intensely dedicated team, they make their events very special and well defined. After experiencing an amazing Christmas Call with them last year, I was thrilled to witness some more pampering by The Body Shop India. The motive behind the meet was to spread a word about their generous campaign called “Wood Positive”. The best part about this campaign is that they have already contributed to the world’s resources by protecting and planting over 55,000 trees in the Ecuadorian Andes and the highly endangered Atlantic Rainforest. As I stepped inside their Select Citywalk, Saket store, I saw a lot of TBS lovers chit chatting, getting pampered and learning about the products. Personally, I loved the hand massage (with lot’s of knowledge about the products they used), the Olive Oil hamper pack (Drool worthy), the earth friendly decor and yummilicious snacks! The campaign was officially launched in association with The World Land Trust on April 22, 2012, in a bid to help restore fragile habitats and regenerate land back to its true form, protecting the environment for the long-term.

Beauty : AVON Bloggers Meet

Bloggers meet is not just another event, but a place where all lovely bloggers meet under one roof, chit chat, pamper themselves, spread a word about their blogs and do blog gossip. ^_^ So when I got an invite from Akshita’s Blogathon team I was overwhelmed and excited to attend Avon’s Blogger Meet Lazy Saturday Afternoon turned out to be an adventurous trip for many, because around the time everyone got out to reach Avon’s Connaught Place Office, god showered us with heavy rainfall. But we girls surely know how to groove a party. 😉 I was the first one to reach the venue. There were two separate counters to pamper ourselves with Avon products. This lady did my makeover, and was absolutely flexible to understand and work on my requirements, unlike those who just do what they want for makeover of a person. Shaily from ConfessionzofaCloset Was greeting fellow blogger Srish while getting ready for her makeover. Nail art pampered hands of Nitika from ShopaholicDiaries A party is never complete without madness. They provided us with super crazy props to try on and get some goofy photos clicked. I still tried to stay sober, with due respect to my monochrome ensemble :p Me, Awungshi and Nitika Awungshi looks really cute ^_^ There was a message behind these crazy props.
