Keeping the skin (face to be precise) cleansed and hydrated is a must for every girl. As much a tedious task it might look, the end results are long lasting. Take it this way – If you follow a cleansing-toning-moisturizing regime twice a day, your skin aging process will postpone for a good while. After trying out Za True White Day Cream for the moisturizing part, it’s time to look into the former part of the regime – Cleansing. About Za True White Cleansing Foam : This whitening cleansing foam removes melanin contained excess surface skin cells and imparts moisturized translucent skin. Actions 1. Cleansing granules roll gently over skin to remove excess surface skin cells and impurities around pores. – Vitamin C granules 2. Moisturizes skin and imparts smooth and translucent skin. – SPA Ingredients. 3. Removes light makeup. Claims Leaves the skin feeling refreshed. Imparts luminous, translucent and moisturized skin. My Experience Staying away from ‘fairness products’, I was quite impressed by the otherwise moisturizing features of Za True White Day Cream. So trying out their True White Cleansing Foam turned out to be an obvious thing. Can’t really vouch for the ‘translucent’ effect of this one, but a single application alone provides a clean and fresh looking skin. Apt for those with an oily skin, the foam definitely takes care of removing impurities (and makeup) as it claims to be. Likes Consistency of the foam. Vitamin C granules that are not harsh on the skin. Mild sweet fragrance. Fresh and hydrated skin. Easy to handle packaging. Lasts for a good 5-6 hours. Dislikes Since I have a combination skin, my cheekbones did feel a mild stretch post application. Still looking forward to experience the ‘translucent effect’. 8 applications so far. Continue readingNormally showcases are those that are only meant for display. Look but don’t touch. However, if you happen to be dropping by the Ssence at the very lush The Suryaa hotel you are surely not to be disappointed. Located in one of the best areas in Delhi, Ssence a Culinary Showcase is truly an extravagant experience offering a wide variety of cuisines which you can not only feast your eyes on but also pick and savor. I-Menu They have a variety of coolers, mocktails and cocktails to offer. Even the ‘normal water’ gets a refreshing twist here. An expected dilemma we faced in the beginning was where to start from. The Sunday Brunch celebrating Father’s Day had a horde of desserts to offer from tarts and donuts to blueberry cakes but later on that. I realized it is improper to start from the desserts so I rushed to the starters. Kids Corner Mini treats for the kids Candies, Popcorns, Muffins and Cookies. While usually vegetarians are made to be disappointed, here it was not so with Vegetable Lasagna exuding with a crusty cheese layer on top and stuffed with mushrooms and veggies.. Next to it rested the pickle-like Mushroom Goulash and tossed colourful vegetables in Olive Oil. Going in the oven South Indian Dosa Platter Chaat Counter Vegetarian Galouti Kababs From herbs to homemade mustard sauces, nothing was left out from the menu. Sizzlers Counter Other notable dishes included the divinely soft Mango Crusted Fish with Avocado & Olive Salsa apart from Se Salt and Lemon Rubbed Chicken freshly prepared and exposed in the pan.I made it a point to try the sizzlers that ranged from shrimps to chicken, fish and pork. The Salad Counter Maneuvering towards the cool salads in sync with a choice of seasoning like Hummus among others, I stopped to try the four …

Being your own boss is a blessing. But if you don’t take the boss in you seriously, it might affect the work log that you have around as a blogger. In today’s technologically advanced time, Android has become our world and Google Play Applications our secretaries to trainers. When you have a 9 to 6 job and a passion to freelance at the same time, forgetting important notes, meetings and deeds becomes a daily issue. What if you can keep your notes yet not look like a nerd? Well, I am talking about the quirkiest stationary store in the market.. Letternote. Their wide range of colourful and eclectic stationary will make even a non-planner start scribbling some notes. Priced at a nominal rate, I absolutely loved the quality of their products. The first time I stumbled upon www.letternote.com, what really caught my eyes were the lovely prints that they have to offer. With a twist of Indian tadka, letternote’s stationary collection is artistic and apt for those who just can’t do with boring grey diaries. Continue readingWe are all familiar with Shiseido, aren’t we? And when I heard that they are launching a special skin care line called ‘ZA’, I had to scribble down some beauty notes. Personally, I am not that big on beauty products. But skin care is something I am bound to obey and follow up. When I was approached to review a ‘Whitening cream’, I felt repelled. I am one of those people who will never ever promote skin fairness products. But when I went through the press note, this product didn’t seem like a ‘fairness cream’ but more of a helping you get-rid-of-blemishes cream. March-April-May is the crucial spring/summer time when your skin goes berserk trying to adjust with the crazy weather. Not to forget, that this year Delhi has received quite an amount of unusual rains. My skin being a combination type usually becomes hard to manage in such seasons. In desperation, I gave into trying a lot of products and surprisingly Za turned out to be the winner! My Experience The consistency might seem thick, but when you apply the cream on your face it dissolves in no time and does not leave behind a sticky skin issue. The cream is quite light and can be the perfect summer moisturizer (might vary from skin to skin). Likes Dissolves into the skin with ease Light on skin (even in harsh summers) Reduces blemishes Perfect moisturizer SPF20-PA++ (A must in summers) Broad jar for easy access Mild fragrance Stays on for 8-9 hours Dislikes Patience for at least a month to see the results. Continue readingThose who don’t know the current India scenario, well the festive and wedding season is in full norm. Every corner of India is glittering with enthusiasm, happiness and lot’s of colorful love. Celebrating this season, many apparel and accessory brands across the country are pushing their ‘Festive Range’. One such colorful brand is BIBA. Located across various cities of India, this store has much more than the ‘ethnic wear’ to offer. Two days back I was invited to review the Festive Season 2013 collection from BIBA. A wide variety of ethnic wear, ranging from simple mix and match, to a goth inspired ‘Rockstar’ collection. The icing on the top, is the designer yet affordable collection from Rohit Bal for BIBA. Choosing my favorite looks was the most difficult task, as the collection had so much to offer. Still, I managed to score three looks which will suit every ‘Desi Girl’! LOOK 1 : Simple and Chic This look is meant for those, who like it simple yet elegant. The idea is to infuse in the traditional hues of blue and red, with a simple silhouette, and nothing fancy. The only shine of the look is the golden block print and the Banarasi style border. Tip : Team such a look with statement earrings, like I have adorned here. They not only keep the overall look festive and sober, but brings the right amount of drama required to justify the occassion. LOOK 2 : Shimmer Queen This look, from Rohit Bal for BIBA collection, is meant for those who love to live up the festive glitter. The right amount of shimmer print, infused in a sun-kissed orange semi-anarkali suit guarantees the spotlight on you. The bright contrast of this combination will make sure that you stand out in the crowd. Tip : Go …
Continue readingLast weekend I received an invite, which simply blew off my mind. It contained the most boring vegetables of all time, along with an invitation to experience *Healthy Eating* with Masala Oats. I have always hated (to the core) oats, apart from what portion you get in muesli. So I was really keen on knowing, as how I can make this interesting. To make the event special all together, we had Vikas Khanna take over the kitchen, and teach us 2 dishes, which nobody can even imagine will be so yummy. Apart from the cookery class, 2 competitions were held among 6 contestants (in each round), who had to create something healthy with the given products. Take a glimpse of this crazy FOODATHON, through my lens. I, being a food lover, absolutely enjoyed another event by FOODATHON team. They know how to make food lovers happy, and celebrate this love together (healthier this time).
