Summer Street Style essentials consist of cool colour palettes, comfortable silhouettes and Bohemian or Kitschy styles! While I adore the latter, my vibes are always strong towards a Bohemian take on summer trends. Their is something about the Rastafarian trend that makes it worth styling up season after season. And that’s the reason why I have partnered with Vajor.com, yet again, to bring about a ‘Street style OOTD’ that speaks volumes about the Boho style with just the right electric zest of Afghani accessories and comfort of tennis shoes for the woman of free spirit. I did another version of Summer Street Style with Vajor.com recently, when I wore a white embroidered shirt from their latest catalogue at the Amazon India Fashion Week. That was the first time I wore something from Vajor.com and absolutely fell in love with the brand. Not only do they use finest of the fabrics and the trendiest of designs, the fit is so comfortable yet complimenting, that even plus size women can flaunt Vajor designs with elan! Speaking about the dress that I am wearing in this OOTD, it’s White & Grey Embroidered Dress that is apt for a comfortable day out. The fabric used is Printed Rayon Twill with Modal lining. For a finer fit, the dress comes with a back zipper and A-Line fit. What I really liked about the silhouette was the boat neck style that complimented my face and statement earrings well. The fit is great, silhouettes comfortable, structured to fit the needs, subtle embroidery with marble faux stone embellishments for added drama and a colour palette mix of white and grey that suits the otherwise hot weather of Northern India. The dress also comes with a Tie-up Braided waist belt which I didn’t use to celebrate the free-flowing yet structured …

The comfort of having e-commerce in our lives has turned the entire shopping experience into one happy hobby time. If not for our cravings to add on some more clothing to our wardrobes, the e-commerce round the year sales are worth surfing through their thousands of collections; every now and then. Gone are the days when Sale season only meant the ‘end of season’ discounts galore. Now everyday is a discount sale on the web world. And now, when the cold breeze is wearing off slowly, giving way to the spring season, the end of season sale too can be seen reflecting on these .COMS! With massive discount festivals running a 3-day gala affair, with cut-offs as high as 80%, the shopping therapy just can’t get any better than that. How To Shop Smart Sale shopping might seem like a genuine blessing, but it is more a strategically planned marketing plan that the e-commerce giants milk on. Not saying that it’s bad for our health, but if you ain’t a smart shopper, you might get doped into buying something which is on ‘discount’ for almost the same amount as its actual costing. The idea is to analyse your cart carefully and ask yourself ‘Is this jacket worth spending INR XXX on?’. Don’t go by the discount cut only, but the actual worth of spending a few bucks on something which might actually look like a few pennies instead. Current Stocking Scheme I am one of those buyers who often check out the physical stores for their end of season sales, so as to invest in off season clothes that are worth a buy, will be in trend and will definitely last worth the money spent on them. Even if we are slowly approaching the spring season, we still have a …
Continue readingSeeing how I struggled with my outdated 3G canvas phone, my younger sister convinced me to get a new one promising a smoother and faster experience. The younger generation is definitely more inclined and quick to catch up with the newest technology faster than us. But I am also ever keen to keep up. It was time to start my big search right away. I spent an entire evening reading reviews of phones and comparing them on different portals. It is amazing to see the pace at which technologies are advancing. What is released today becomes passé by the next month. Of all the new advancements, I gathered that 4G connectivity is the true hero of all the claims made by mobile makers! Being a social buzz-maker who is always on her toes, I felt a magnetic pull towards claims like ‘super fast streaming, uploading, and downloading’ among others! I am not able to get Wifi everywhere especially with a consistent speed and access. Thus I have no other option but to rely on my mobile phone’s internet connectivity when I am venturing al fresco. I wondered what this high-speed hullabaloo was all about. I had been using 3G for some time, and I was pretty satisfied with it as it was way better than 2G! To think of something beating the 3G speed was what got me interested in it I logged into Flipkart where choosing the best phone from thousands, gets easier and less time consuming with Filters. I refined my search with filters like price range, brand, SIM type, clock speed, primary and secondary camera and of course, connectivity. I was amused to see 4G phones starting from ₹2600 and going well beyond the ₹30,000 mark. Flipkart has got something for every pocket of India. Even if you do …
