GETAFIX Gluttony-Free Restaurant

Getafix is not like your regular cafeteria wherein all you get are calories! It is an abode where taste meets health and makes each spoonful of yumminess gluttony-free. Probably my biggest weakness is my love for food. And I am not talking about the regular dal-roti customs that we follow. If I have my way, i’d try the yummiest cuisines of the world on a day to day basis (sigh, I wish!). With my style of working (blogger life) the food trials come-in more as a work-ritual rather than feeding self of nutrients. With the hustle-bustle of hopping around being a blogger, I tend to lose my grip on eating healthy. With numerous parties and blogger meets that I give into attending on a weekly basis, none of my weeks go without savouring some outside-cooked food. Now as per the norm, eating outside food is unhealthy. Sure, their certainly is a lot of truth to this belief given the amount of preservatives and added flavours that go into making our palettes worth each penny (that we pay per serving) tasty. But what most of these restaurants lack is keeping up with the health factors and often exploit the basic rules of providing junk in the name of savouries to us foodies. GETAFIX, like I said earlier, is not just another cafeteria that offers an array of dishes to try out, but don’t meet the health factors that one requires; in any way. Just a couple of days back I was telling my foodie friend about my experience at Getafix and she was just not ready to believe that such a restaurant exists that offers healthy food. Blackberrys Sharp Nights | Masters of World Music

Bloggers meet is not just another event, but a place where all lovely bloggers meet under one roof, chit chat, pamper themselves, spread a word about their blogs and do blog gossip. ^_^ So when I got an invite from Akshita’s Blogathon team I was overwhelmed and excited to attend Avon’s Blogger Meet Lazy Saturday Afternoon turned out to be an adventurous trip for many, because around the time everyone got out to reach Avon’s Connaught Place Office, god showered us with heavy rainfall. But we girls surely know how to groove a party. 😉 I was the first one to reach the venue. There were two separate counters to pamper ourselves with Avon products. This lady did my makeover, and was absolutely flexible to understand and work on my requirements, unlike those who just do what they want for makeover of a person. Beauty : Make up Session with Inglot : Cocktail Party Special

As India is having weeks of Fashion, designs, colors, media, press releases, champagne, food and COCKTAIL PARTIES, I got a chance to visit Inglot Store, Select Citywalk, Saket, Delhi. As I entered the store all I could see was a paradise of colors and cosmetics. They had such a diverse shade card that absolutely any color you looking for will be available with them. They had so many shades of eye makeup, that I felt an itch to collect all of them and do eye design creations ^_^ What if you want to wear a RED lipstick and the following options are provided to you??? And their nail paint options were to drool over!! And here comes the Make up session. I was given a choice of chosing one type of makeup style. Since Fashion weeks are round the corner, I thought why not try some “Cocktail Party Look”. DOVE – INDIBLOGGER EVENT

I feel so ashamed to pull up this post soooo late. But oh well I have been busy playing the “Editor’s” role at Maazu.com Anyways, so we had this awesome back to back Indiblogger meet. But to start with I am presenting to you the DOVE INDIBLOGGER MEET. Held at The Park, Connaught Place. The event was not yet another boring brands promoting their new launches. But rather a more interactive, informative and fun filled session. Can anyone ask for a better deal than that? When me, Bharti from CrazypopLock, Awungshi from drpoisonivy andAnushri from anushrisaxena reached the venue, the event had just started. The first few bloggers who reached the venue got the chance to introduce themselves under the category 60 SECONDS TO FAME. On a personal note, I think it was an amazing idea as people were able to introduce themselves, their blog and what it is all about. We had more than 100 Delhi Women Bloggers. I had no clue the bloggers number is so huge in Delhi itself. We had a gala time knowing each other. Delhi bloggers enjoying the event. We were in for a surprise guest “Shivani Tanksale” She was a fun person to listen to, as she talked about her hair problems, her personal take on this, how messy her hair becomes at times, how shes got to juggle up health, hygiene and work all together.
