John Players has always been associated with being the retail leaders in the Indian menswear market. Keeping up with their promise of introducing latest international trends to the Indian consumers, John Players has recently launched their Spring Summer Collection SS’17 for men, which is an amalgamation of style for all and intense inclusion of various prints and colour palette; catering to all. The collection has been picked up from the international runways, customised for the Indian body type and offers a diverse categorical sub-catalogue venturing into various style-requirements that Indian men require on a daily basis. John Players 2017 collection has been inspired by travel attributes, offering spunky motifs and prints that go well with all men. The colour scheme runs through hues of green, yellow, red and blue among other basic tones like B&W and browns. What I really liked about the collection was that John Players designers believe that prints are meant for all, hence offering a variety of prints on shirts like floral patterns, madras checks and embroidered butta motif; to celebrate style for those men who love experimenting yet looking suave. Me along with my friend Rahul Makkar of FitFoodiesMantra recently visited John Players Lajpat Nagar store to check out the collection in person and style Rahul in three of the mix-matched looks. Rahul, belonging to the hospitality industry, understands the necessity of looking presentable at all times. But he also understands the dilemma of being comfortable yet being confident in whatever men wear. Hence, his take on the collection is that the range offers a great fit, the fabrics used are apt for the Indian weather conditions and the choice of picking from a line of styles and colour palettes is absolutely remarkable.
