After spending an entire month (and a few extra days) trying out Gillette Venus for a smooth hair-free skin, I can confidently say that it’s been a smoother ride ever since! I haven’t touched the sticky wax neither have booked an appointment to get waxed ever since.

For all those who have been following my blog, I have already shared a detailed blog post on my Experience of #SubscribeToSmooth challenge.  But then their are certain things that I wanted to point out when you plan on switching or at least trying Razor over your regular waxing experience.

Razors For Beginners

1. Always invest in a razor which is meant for a woman’s skin. NEVER ever purchase a man’s razor, because it’s cheap. The man’s razor is harder in built and can leave bruises and cuts if used on your delicate skin.

2. It is always advisable to invest in a re-usable razor, which comes with detachable razor blades. But if you are first time user and would just like to give it a try, try out Gillette Venus’s disposable ones.

3. Don’t forget to purchase a shaving cream while you’re at it. It not only gives you an easier shaving experience, but it also leaves your skin feeling nourished and not ripped off its natural moisture post razor ritual.

4. Keep a towel to wipe your skin out post razor ritual.

5. Always use luke warm water to cleanse the skin afterwards. Harsh hot & cold water can damage the skin, since it takes a few minutes for it to close down its pores and come back to its natural shape.

6. DO NOT use your razor with anyone else. It is a matter of personal hygiene that can definitely not be taken lightly.

I have been well acquainted with the brand and its values since a long time.
